Not another fitness app

The AI coach that reads all your data.

NOTANOTR is an iPhone app for lifters who already train and eat right: an AI coach that reads training, food, sleep and blood work together and gives one change every Sunday.

The coach's Sunday check-in in the app: the 7-day average 1.3 kg ahead of the plan line
1 changethis week: sleep, not food

Why it exists

Six apps.
One file.

Food in one app, sets in another, the supplements in Notes, blood work as PDFs, photos lost in the camera roll, the scale in a spreadsheet. None of them talk to each other. Here it is one file, and every Sunday it is read from end to end.

How it works

Three steps. The same every week.

01

Log it your way

Type a sentence, photograph the plate or the lab report, or say the set to Siri. Sleep, steps and weight can come in from Apple Health.

The coach logging lunch from one sentence: about 720 kcal and 38 g protein
02

It reads the whole file

The weight trend against the plan line, what you really burn measured from your log, and every set against the last one.

Observed expenditure of 2,857 kcal a day with its range
03

Sunday: one change

Keep 2,200 kcal. 1.3 kg ahead of the plan line. This week the fix is sleep, not food. Then you see what was predicted against what happened.

What it reads

Your numbers, read like a coach would.

The scale

Which kilos are real.

A carb-up, sodium, creatine, a diet break: all of them move the scale, none of them is fat. The coach reads the 7-day trend against your plan line before anyone touches your calories.

1.3 kg ahead of the plan line

Expenditure

Your maintenance, measured over time.

Every week it re-measures what you burn from what you ate and what the scale did, and follows it through the diet.

2,857kcal a day
range 2,806 to 2,908from 20 logged days
Sleep · Strength

Sleep and HRV, read against every lift.

NOTANOTR reads your sleep from Apple Health, with HRV and resting heart rate, and shows which stalls came after a night under 6 hours.

Who it's for

You already eat right and train right.

That is when progress gets hard to find. The last 10% hides in the data: a stall that follows short nights, a weekend that undoes the week, a scale that shows water and not fat. The coach reads every row and finds where your numbers don't add up. A weekly check-in form never shows that.

Recomp · Lean gain · Off-season

You log everything.

Twelve weeks of sets, grams and weigh-ins, finally read together. Every Sunday: one change, and the number behind it.

Show prep

You're prepping for a show.

Set the date and every week counts toward it: the countdown, six poses against four and twelve weeks back, and a lower floor for the last weeks if you switch it on.

Supplements

You take a stack and get your bloods checked.

Your supplements, blood work and the scale on one timeline. When a marker walks toward its limit, you get the question for your next appointment.

Coaches

You coach athletes.

Read a client's whole file in the assistant you already work in, with a code they make and can end.

For coaches →

Not for beginners.

If you're still learning to squat, a beginner app will serve you better. Come back when the basics are boring and the last 10% is what's left.

What a check-in never shows

It finds where your numbers don't add up.

From one file: the sample athlete in the app, sixteen weeks into a prep. An online coach reading a weekly form sees none of these.

What it caught in one file

Strength week 14

Hack squat stuck at 140 for three sessions. Sleep under 6 h came before every one.

Labs Jul 15

Hematocrit 49.2, up from 46.1, against an upper limit of 50. Take it to Dr. R. on the 18th.

Recovery Thu

Flat legs after 5 h 50 of sleep is recovery, not the deficit.

Pace Sun

1.3 kg ahead of the plan line. The pace can ease.

Supplements 16 weeks

Electrolytes never missed on a surf day. The daily stack slipped on 8 days in 16 weeks.

Steps 4 weeks

8,900 a day on average, down from 11,300.

Labs Jun

Ferritin 64 after the June donation. Worth a recheck.

Adherence 12 weeks

Weakest day: Friday.

The weekly report

After every check-in, a report.

What went right, what to do better and the one change for next week, each with the number behind it. In the app under Reports, and in your inbox if you want it.

  1. Your week in four numbers: weight, calories, protein, training.
  2. What went right, so you keep doing it.
  3. What to do better, with the days it happened.
  4. The one change, and weeks later whether it landed where it was predicted.

Inside the app

AI fitness coach features: training, food, sleep and blood work in one place.

NOTANOTR writes every set with its e1RM and marks a stall the moment it happens, logs food to the gram, sends a report after every check-in and reads blood work against the lab's range.

This week, today, and what is getting stronger.

The week at a glance, today's workout with its first sets, and the lifts that are moving, each with its trend. A stall is marked the moment it happens.

How you use it

One file. Three readers.

The coach in the app

Reads everything before it answers.

Ask at 23:40 and it still knows last Tuesday's sleep. Every Sunday it writes the check-in.

How it works →
Your own AI

Claude or ChatGPT, on your file.

Set up your plan, change it and ask your file anything, from the assistant you already use. Every change waits in the app until you apply it.

Connect your AI →
Your coach

The whole file, not the form.

Your coach reads everything, sends their own program into your app, and tells the coach in the app what to watch for. One tap ends it.

For coaches →

Claude & ChatGPT · our own MCP server

Set it up, run it and read it from Claude or ChatGPT.

NOTANOTR runs its own MCP server. Connect it once with a code, and the assistant you already use can build your plan, change it and read all of it.

Set up

Your plan in one conversation.

It reads your file, asks what it still needs, and sends a program, targets, a meal plan and your rules.

“Set me up in NOTANOTR.”
Manage

Change it any time.

Swap an exercise, move a day, adjust calories, write a new meal plan. Every change waits in the app until you apply it.

“Move legs off Friday.”
Analyse

Ask your whole file anything.

Two preps side by side, what your lifts did when sleep dropped, every blood draw since spring.

“Why did my squat stall?”

mcp.notanotr.com/mcp/v1Works in Claude and ChatGPT, or any agent that speaks MCP. It reads only with a code you make behind Face ID, never logs for you, and changes nothing before you apply it.

For coaches

Your athletes. Your program. Their whole file.

Coach from the assistant you already work in. Your athlete makes a code; from then on you read everything they log, send your own program into their app, and tell the coach in the app what to watch for between your check-ins.

01
Read every athlete's file

Every weigh-in, set, meal and night of sleep, with the arithmetic done: trend, measured maintenance, e1RM per lift, adherence. Blood work and supplements only if they switch them on.

02
Let them train your program

Send your own program with its schedule, a meal plan with dry and raw weights, or new targets. It lands in their app under Review and runs once they apply it.

03
Tell the coach what to look for

Your instructions reach the coach in their app as notes it reads in every conversation: flag any week under 150 g protein, ask before changing calories, watch the left shoulder.

With an account, a copy is kept encrypted so a new phone can restore it.

You decide who reads

Every code is made behind Face ID, shows what it can read, and ends with one tap.

Questions

Before you start.

Is it for beginners?

No. It assumes you already train with intent and log your food. It reads that data. It doesn't teach the basics.

Do I need Claude or ChatGPT?

No. The coach is built into the app. Connecting your own assistant is optional, for asking your file questions in the tool you already use.

Does it tell me what to take?

No. You log the supplements you already take, and the amount is yours to set. It lines your blood work up with them and writes the question for your next appointment.

Can my coach see everything?

Only what the code allows, and only until it ends. Blood work, supplements and photo dates are off unless you switch them on for that code.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. NOTANOTR is iPhone only for now.

Is it in German?

Yes. The app and this site are in English and German.
